Borrowing books from EC Library for Agency staff
I would like to know if (and how) I can borrow some books in EC Library? I work for an executive Agency.
Answer
According to the EC Library’s licence agreements, access to subscribed e-resources is restricted to Commission staff only. As Executive Agencies are separate legal entities, unfortunately their staff are not covered by these agreements.
Other library services, such as borrowing print books and using any type of e-resources in the Library’s reading rooms, will still be available to Agency staff. If you wish do to so, we can create an account in our library system for you.
Our reading room is located in 18 Rue Van Maerlant and is open from Monday to Thursday from 10.00 to 17.00. Please check our website for exceptional closure dates of the reading room.
