How to loan/renew/return a book?

Answer

You can loan books directly in the libraries or request them via Find-eR, EU login required, and they will be sent to your office. You can renew your loan yourself in the My Loans section of your account in Find-eR. Go to My Loans.

Some loans cannot be renewed and must be returned. You can make a new request afterwards. 

To return a book go to "My loans" in Finder to find the "Print return label" links for your loans. You will also receive an e-mail with print links for overdue items.

Once ready, send the book back via internal mail.

  1. I cannot find Find-eR. A link to it would have been ideal. And a far simpler explanation to the questions would be preferrable, eg: Yes: you can renew a loan like this... No: you cannot if the book in question has been requested by someone else.
